Penpals with Manchester 📬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Last week, 5th graders received the letters 📬from their friends in Manchester 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧 

They were very happy and nervous before opening the letters and when they did it, a big smile showed up in their faces 😁🥰🤩

Our friends, wrote the letters in spanish and we do it in english 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ It's a fantastic way to know many things about new people from a different country and to improve our english too‼😊

Now we are waiting for the next letters!!!! Maybe, we could receive them in Christmas‼🎄🎁

In art class we learn about different artists and artistic movements. Recently we've studied Gaudí and Art with Words. We also did a project about the artist Thomas Struth, whose exhibit we enjoyed during our visit to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao😊🖼🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

Thanksgiving‼

Last weeks, we've celebrated Thanksgiving at school 🏫😊

We've learnt vocabulary and songs and we did many activities in English and Art lessons related with this popular tradition in Canada and USA 🇨🇦🇺🇸

It was very cool and we've learnt a lot‼

We are thankful for many things and we are very happy‼
